Note

The pattern was created for the Kasli Foundry. A very rare limited edition genre sculptural composition produced in 1956 using the original designer pattern by P. S. Anikin created in honor of the 6th World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow (which opened on July 28, 1957). The festival attracted 34,000 people from 131 countries. The slogan of the festival was “For Peace and Friendship”. The symbol of the international event visited by delegates of various youth organizations was the “Dove of Peace”, the idea of which was created by a Spanish painter and a Cubism pioneer Pablo Picasso (1881-1973).
