Note
Molder Vasily Nikolayevich Teplyakov worked at the Kasli Foundry from 1936 until the late 1950s. In the 1940s-1950s, he branded his cast iron castings with a personal inscription: “ТЕПЛЯКОВ” (TEPLYAKOV). The stamp in the general article branding “ЗАВ.КАСЛИ” (KASLI FOUNDRY) repeating the branding “КАС.З.” (KASLI FOUNDRY) put on factory articles in the first years after the revolution indicates the fact that V. N. Teplyakov molded the group sculpture “The Prisoner of the Caucasus” using as a pattern a ready iron casting with a brand “КАС.З.” (KASLI FOUNDRY) of 1920 (probably, the factory pattern was unavailable for some reason).
